In vitro study | LB-100 can effectively inhibit the growth of BxPc-3 and Panc-1 cells, IC50 values were 2.3 μm and 1.7 μm. After BxPc-3, Panc-1 and SW1990 cells were treated with LB-100, the activity of PP2A decreased by 30-50%. LB-100 increased the intracellular doxorubicin concentration (about 2.5 times that of the control group) and made the tumor cells more sensitive to doxorubicin cytotoxicity. LB-100 increases VEGF secretion, thereby enhancing hif-1α-VEGF mediated angiogenesis. |
In vivo study | In a mouse pancreatic cancer xenograft model, LB-100 (2 mg/kg, I. P.) improved the efficacy of the chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin. LB-100 increased tumor microvessel density and tumor surface blood flow velocity. |
